What Exactly is the Good News
GNOTS (Pronounced g-nots) stands for Good News On The Street.
The good news is the Gospel. What is the Gospel? The fact that Jesus took our punishment of death for our sins when He didn't have to, out of great love for us. And all we have to do is truly accept that substitutionary sacrifice to be applied to our life-account. To truly accept His offer is to accept everything He is and everything He believes.
God, the Father, and God, His Son, and God, the Holy Spirit, have the same great loving character, and they want us to have that same loving character too. But since they won't force us to have that kind of mind and attitude, they have had a book written by over 30 selected godly people in order for us to get to know God's ways and loving principles. These are grand themes on which a person may dwell.
Jesus said: "He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.” John 6:47. If we truly believe Him we will truly believe His ways and His principles for living. When we do we'll be very happy. We'll gladly learn to be as loving as God, and then He will be able to take us to His heavenly kingdom where we be able to appreciate and enjoy the companionship of the holy angels there, and all of those who will be redeemed from the world, forever.
"God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." - Rev 14:6,7

In this first angel’s message (Rev.14:6) people are called upon to worship God, our Creator, who made the world and all that is in it. The message proclaimed by the angel flying in the midst of heaven is the everlasting gospel, the same gospel that was declared in Eden when God said to Satan who was in the serpent, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed." By a declaration, God made known the division between those who stand for the right, and those who stand for the wrong. But in His statement, God also made a promise of a Seed that would let Satan crush His Feet (nails through His feet, crushing them against a cross) in order to be able to offer salvation to whoever truly accepts Him and His loving ways and loving law. It was also promised in His statement that the Seed, Jesus, would crush Satan's head, meaning Satan and his seed (the fallen angels) would be conquered and will die, and will never live again. The universe will be free from the instigators of sin.
However, the world's masses don't understand all this. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." - 1 Cor. 1:18

Before the end of the world, when Jesus will come again, we must help the people understand and receive the Gospel.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." - Mat.24:14
